Overall, the PS Plus selections from Sony for January 2016 seem decent enough, with a mixture of indie titles and high budget releases. The latter earned a decent amount of critical acclaim since its debut on iOS devices in 2012, and came to the Vita in January earlier this year, so it's somewhat fitting that it is joining the Instant Game Collection a year after its official release. There's Legends of War Patton, a game from the History Channel, and the puzzle platformer Nihilumbra. The other two games available on the Vita are much more obscure than Grim Fandango. A remaster of one of gaming's most cherished cult classics, Grim Fandango Remastered is certainly a significant addition to the PS Plus Instant Game Collection in January. The first is shared with the PS4, and it's the headlining game for the service in January, Grim Fandango Remastered. Meanwhile, PS Vita owners are a little spoiled in January, as owners of Sony's fledgling handheld will be able to download three games instead of two.
